
APrIGF 2026 will be held in a HYBRID format, combining physical attendance, and at various local hubs in other cities, as well as online participation.

Different session formats will have different time durations. Please ensure you have read through the Call For Proposal Guideline to understand the requirements and expectations before submitting a session proposal.
To increase the chance of acceptance and to make the event a success, session organizer(s) are expected to:
– Align the proposal title and issues with APrIGF 2026 objectives, theme, sub-themes, and guidelines, and design the session accordingly.
– Present content that reflects APAC contexts and experiences, and clearly addresses pressing Internet Governance issues in the region.
– Foster an inclusive environment that encourages new connections and respects diversity of opinion, belief, experience, and background.
– Build a diverse group of speakers (gender, geography, stakeholder groups) and collaborate with different organizations, projects, and local hosts.
– Manage the allocated session time effectively, allowing meaningful engagement with both in-person and remote participants.
– Promote APrIGF and the session within your network.
– Submit a Session Summary Report within 2 weeks after the conference and contribute to the Synthesis Document with key insights from the session.
– Proposal content should reflect the proposer’s own expertise and experience. AI tools may only be used for language or grammar improvement but not on content development.
