Specific Issues for Discussion
Review our democratic struggle to maintain and develop the internet in Japan. After the rambunctious MANGAMURA issue, we still have a stable internet without regulation by the authority. But as everyone knows, there are many problems in the net, such as security issues, privacy issues as well as piracy. We will introduce the effort not only by the government but also by the private sectors.
Describe the Relevance of Your Session to APrIGF
Our liberalistic approaches are not perfect, some of them are not effective. Otherwise in many countries have the same problems. Even if the background, such as culture, law and convention are different, our address will show the ways to solve them. At the very least, provide some hint or inspiration to the people who are in charge of these matters.
How to keep the trustful internet against the cyber crime, bulling, propaganda, censorship and so on.
